Belia Alvarez - Regional General Manager
Belia Alvarez has more than 20 years of hospitality experience, serving for many of those as a general manager of Hotel Encanto and the Hilton Garden Inn located in Las Cruces. She sets the standard of hospitality instilled in team members, and especially those who work with our VIP guests at the hotels.

Alvarez is a community leader who is very involved with many local organizations. She is the past Chair of the Las Cruces Convention & Visitor’s Bureau Advisory Board, Vice Chair for the Las Cruces Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, President for "Friends of Visit Las Cruces," Board Member for the New Mexico Hospitality Association, Board Member for New Mexico State University HRTM and newly appointed Commissioner of Tourism by Governor Martinez. Alvarez has also received the following awards: 2012 Heritage Hotels & Resorts Leadership Award, NM State LULAC 2014 Excellence in Public Service Recipient, 2012 New Mexico Lodger's Association Administrator of the Year Recipient and the 2011 Hampton Inn & Suites Stand Out Ambassador-Selected by the Hampton Brand.

Christine Espana - Regional Revenue Manager
Christine Espana is one the original team members for Hilton Las Cruces, which became Hotel Encanto in 2006.  After nearly 28 years, she has become a remarkable leader in our hotel management team and within the Heritage Hotel & Resorts team. She began her career as a Front Desk Agent in 1986 and was quickly promoted to Front Office Supervisor. In 1990, she became the hotel’s Reservation Manager.  In 2004, Christine was promoted to Revenue Manager, where she has driven the success of our property. She was twice named the company’s Revenue Manager, in 2006 and 2007. Christine is guest favorite and has built many long-term relationships with them. She currently serves as our Regional Revenue Manager.

James Wilson - Regional Sales Manager
James Wilson, who serves association and corporate clients, has been a member of the Hotel Encanto team for nearly 27 years. He began his hospitality career in the kitchen with the opening of the Andover Marriott in Massachusetts. His history with our hotel team includes various positions with the Food and Beverage department including Beverage Manager/Hotel Night Manager. James led the team opening two successful beverage venues, Las Caras and the current luxurious AZUL Ultra lounge. James joined the hotel's sales team in 2007 and enjoys partnering with his clients for successful events. He graduated from New Mexico State University with a hospitality degree in 1993.

Brianna Lucas - Sales Manager
Brianna Lucas brings to Hotel Encanto a tremendous experience working with group sales teams from the client’s side.  She worked in Division I collegiate athletics for five years before pursuing her Master’s Degree in the Hospitality & Tourism program at Niagara University. Brianna’s primary focus is in the Government, Corporate and Sports segments. Her competitive edge and interpersonal skills make her a great asset to the team.

Jessie Lopez - Regional Events Manager
Jessie Lopez began his career 15 years ago, and his deep passion and love for entertaining and planning events has led him into becoming one of the area’s leading Wedding Planners. Jessie is a creative genius at his craft.  With expertise in lighting, graphics and floral design, there is no space he can’t transform into a magical setting.



Amanda Roberts - Front Office Manager
Amanda Roberts joined the Hotel Encanto hospitality team in August 2011 as a Front Desk Agent. After mastering the front desk position, she was promoted to one the hotel’s manager-on-duty. Amanda is well-respected and has been named as an Employee of the Month. In November 2013, Amanda became our Reservation Manager. She has quickly established herself as one of the hotel’s young leaders. She loves working with people and manages our VIP experiences.
